Megan Dudenhoeffer
Megan is an MSc student at the University of Manitoba, where she researches Arctic fox diet and population dynamics near Churchill, Manitoba, using fecal DNA. Megan is the recipient of the 2018 Richard C. Goulden Memorial award.
Dr. Merlin Shoesmith
Dr. Merlin Shoesmith is an honorary member of The Wildlife Society Canadian Section and Manitoba Chapter. He has had an extensive career with Manitoba Conservation, including serving as the Assistant Deputy Minister of Resource Programs for 10 years. He was a professor at the University of Manitoba, teaching courses in Ecosystem Management and Biogeography at the graduate level from 2001-2007. His outstanding contributions to Wildlife in Manitoba has earned him several prestigious awards, including the Bring it Home to Winnipeg Award, Jim McDonough Award, Annual Outreach Award, COSEWIC Service Award and Conservationist of the Year Award.
